What you choose to do with them is up to you.” ― Richard Bach The layering is heavy and exciting. The horses continue changing all the way to the end of the process. Constant contact with the collector enables me to capture the essence of what they hope for their painting. Observe the changes tomorrow in the manes of the horses. In addition watch the adjustment to the positioning of the middle horse and then the colors and shapes of the muzzles on the outer two horses.

I did up four sketches for the piece and he chose the three horses drinking. You can see how I began the piece with a mid dark blue and then began sketching the horses in place. The base is in acrylic and then the painting is in oil. Every painting I do has a 'joy' to it.  To enjoy this moment of painting opens up beautiful thoughts inside of me. I love this part of

I love to watch the sunrise and truly miss seeing it rise on the lake.  Now I love watching the sunrise in the eyes of my two granddaughters.  I hear the beauty of the world in the baby's morning song as she wakes to her day.  Terry and I look at each other and just grin.   Our day has begun.   So often concern, doubt and fear seem to get in the way of us realizing peace of mind and heart.
